Concise and to-the-point, with technical glossaries at the end of each chapter. Overall, the explanations were well-written in layman's language and relates well to the reader in the appropriate cultural context.

Terminologies for each chapter are stated at the end of each chapter and is consistent with the context of the chapter. There are no double-meanings for any terminology either.

For most math concepts, there is a section on introducing the concept of the math principle, and a separate section that outlines the steps on how to apply the principle, as well as another section showing examples on how the math problem pertaining to the math principle is done.

Some of the cultural and social references appear to pertain to American culture, e.g. the introductory paragraph of chapter 2 talks about how territorial possession dominates the lifestyles of Americans whenever they watch the NFL from September to December, so perhaps content that reflects Canadian context may be more relevant for the Canadian learner.
