Reviewing OERs is integral to the open education movement. It’s a fundamental step in expanding access to education at our partner institutions. We fully support this movement and the people who carry it forward. To help make it easier, we’ve outlined what’s involved with reviewing an open textbook below.

Do I Qualify?
We welcome qualified textbook reviewers from across Manitoba’s post-secondary institutions.
You qualify to review OERs if:
1. |
You are a faculty member at a Manitoba post-secondary institution. |
2. |
The subject area in which you teach matches that of the textbook you’re wanting to review. |
3. |
You'll consider adopting the textbook into your course(s) if your review indicates that it could be a good fit. |
4. |
You agree to have your name and review featured inside the textbook collection. |
5. |
You haven’t already completed two reviews. |

Application to Review
An honorarium of $250 will be provided to eligible and qualified individuals who complete, submit — and permit the open publication of the review — on an open textbook from our collection.
